Update 200

Albert, good to hear that you are keeping the car. If you had the car all these years since new, it is very difficult emotionally to get rid of it, more so if its a Volvo.

Our family 144, bought new by my dad, was his daily driver and his only car for 28 years. 11 years after he passed away, it is still in service as my mother's daily driver, and is still driven until today. I do not know how much I have spent, but it is definately cheaper than some of my newer cars. Basic oil and filter change, new clutch and cable every few years, and its good to go for thousands of trouble free miles. Oh yes, its been towed 2 times in 37 years, when the clutch cable snapped.

Perhaps you car is good for another 10 more years?
