very rare no start situation solved.

Hello All.
94 945T
Replaced fuel sending unit with known good one i had on garage shelf.
A year or so back my friend pulled it from a customers wrecked car before junking the car.
the replacement was to get my fuel gauge working so i figure a couple hours and it will be behind me.
After sender replacement the gauge was working but the car would not start
(Insert upside down smile here)
After i checked/tried more than a few things i ended up checking fuel flow back back back till i got to the sender and it seems the 4 inch section of aluminum pipe that goes through the sender cover had become home to a MUD WASP NEST. a small amount of fuel would pass through the mud but not enough to run the car.
I dont think i seen that one posted here before.
hope some one will get a laugh out of this. i did not.
Mike
