Mystery wires 200 1989

So, I've got a couple bugs to work out in the center "heater" console area. First there's a yellow wire that's connected to nothing. Then, there's a total of 4 connections on that brown rheostat wire with the red connector blocks on them. I see only 3 bulbs, the two on the heater panel, and one for the top light that shines down on the heater/hazard/etc switches. Where would this extra one go?

Also, the hazard flasher light ceased working, not sure if I connected it wrong, or it's the bulb, or the bulb holder. Currently I have a black ground wire on there, the one that connects to other switches. I broke the brass contact on the bulb holder, so i know that needs replacing... Any help to solve this would be greatley appreciated. I can't decipher the schematics on Bentley's and I haven't found a proper link to that wiring on the internet. thanks
