Kåre's cylinder head - 1974 B20F 140-160 1974

In the past I have understood that the late (74-75) B20F cylinder heads had no dips over the center
exhaust ports where the manifold mounting face meets the top of the cylinder head.
In other words, it was pretty much a 90° sharp edge along the center top of the head
in this area.
Kåre Lundberg is chronicling his cam replacement on Swedespeed and at the bottom of the current page shows a good picture of his refurbed but unpainted head. It CLEARLY has a dip over the #3 exhaust port and is just as clearly a CIS head as opposed to a D-jet head. You can see his posts at http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?166459-Changing-out-cam-in-1974-144
I wonder if any of our august engine pros would like to comment on this apparent disparity.
