NEED YOUR HELP 200 1982

Hello,

Having an 82 242DL for about 26 years make me prejudiced on the car. If the car has limited rust issues and runs, it's a keeper. It is an easy car to work on and very reliable. In all the years I have had the car the only issue that disabled it was the ignition system and bad connections. The rest I took care of and thats not saying much with my limited skills. The fact that it is a 2 door makes it scarce and in my eyes better looking.

As far as reverse is concerned, have you checked the reverse lockout on the shifter linkage. It may be out of adjustment which is an easy fix. Good luck.
