Temp Needle 200

This tends to happen once in a BIG while, yet still makes me wonder why. Last night after leaving work the temp needle moved up 3/4 of the way to the top. Then after a bit it settled down to the middle then back up etc...This has happened twice this week in the evening. It slowly fluctuated from the middle to 3/4 to the top.

I usually warm up the car a bit before driving off, and checked the fluids, all good there. No weird noised or anything.

Help? Thanks much!!
