84 240 not getting spark/ acceptable coil resistance 200 1984

Hey,
I am working on my 84 wagon which currently has no spark. When performing the ignition tests from the Bentley manual, I noticed that my primary coil resistence is a little out of spec (2.5 ohms) when the manual calls for 1.1-1.3ohms. So it could possibly be the coil? I also checked the vaccum hose to the control unit and tested for battery voltage at the coil, both were present. Next was to check the hall sender, which also seems to be working as per the manual tests. When I simulate the hall sender signal (passing a steel blade past the hall switch), the pumps kick on and the injectors fire but still no spark. I also tried jumping the hall sender pins with the same result, but no spark.

Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated!
