annoying rumble at 25-30 mph 200 1991

There is annoying rumble at 25-30 miles an hour. I think it is coming from the back end. The noise is definitely audible from the cabin of the wagon. The wagon does not shake but is noisy. The 25-30 mph is the point when it is about to shift gears. When I engage the kickdown cable function the noise disappears. Is there something wrong? What could it be? BTW, it is an automatic that been well cared for with synthetic fluid flushes every 20-30k. The mileage is about 201,000.
