Greetings! Starting a restoration. 444-544

Hello,

I'm new here. I recently bought a '62 PV544 that looks to be stock. It's got no rust that I can see, except a little on the surface of the drums.

I've been working on the brakes a little bit. Figured I'd make sure she can stop before I make her go. Replaced the master cylinder and the brake lines. Rebuilt the 4 wheel cylinders. Replaced the rear drums (had some problems getting them off, whoops!) and had the front drums resurfaced.

My next task is to pull the gas tank and get it cleaned out. Then I'll start to work on the carbs, coolant, and electrics. I'll change the oil in the engine, top off the diff and tranny and cross my fingers. This car hasn't been driven since the mid '80s but I was told that it ran fine when it was parked.

Is there anything that I should be worried about on this old beaut? I'll be posting more dumb questions later, as I dig into everything. Thanks for the help!
