New owner of an old Volvo... runs for 10 mins. and then cuts off. 200 1981

Are you having trouble getting it started? If so, you may have a bad check valve on the main fuel pump or fuel related problem.

If it starts good every time even after sitting but just up and quits. Then be suspicious of some electrics. The fuel pumps relay having a bad coil or contacts inside. Corroded fuses in the fuse panel or some other places as this car may need some TLC.

Does it do this regularly, like in, was the previous owner a parking meter officer? (:)
You could be as lucky to blow the horn and it quit, that would be nicer!
Phil
