Gasoline filler hose for 220 120-130 1967

Me again, with another silly question.

Last October, I ordered 13525 RS Fuel filler hose AZ 220 each $13.16
121520 RS Filler hose clamp for 13525 2/car each $2.34

from V-P. They haven't arrived Stateside yet. I am getting a little discouraged because if I make a hard right turn, gasoline spills out of the old hose connection somewhere. Plus, filling the tank will dribble some on the ground while filling.

Are there suitable hose and clamps that I can buy that will handle gasoline? I am not sure if getting a heater hose will work for this application. I haven't checked the diameter of the fuel pipe.
