No, no A/c.

Here's my plan. Fuel line is blocked, has been for 2 years plus. So that's safe from sparks.

The short block is in and nothing else- so there are a lot of loose wires, but... So, what I am going to try is to put on a battery charger as power (slightly safer than connecting a fresh battery) to the main battery cables.

Then I'll short this "!@#$ wire" out to ground, and see which fuse blows. That'll narrow it down significantly. Below my usual standards of diagnosis, but I'm hoping I might get it running this weekend. Partly I am being picky here, but once it's together, I will have relatively little access to the drivers side engine compartment, because I have the distributor in the old b20 position, and a wild fabricated intake manifold that takes up a *lot* of room on that side, with the engine straight up.
