Flywheel re-surfacing or cleaning? 85 245 200 1985

I'm replacing my clutch friction plate soon(ish). I'm having some leakage from my transmission, and it is causing the clutch to slip a bit. Nothing major though.

This will be the 3rd time I've replaced the clutch (once in 10, one in 11 and then now). The first one was regular maintenance, the second one was because I didn't seat the RMS properly, and this one because I stupidly didn't replace the transmission seal.

I've had the flywheel resurfaced twice already, and between the last time and now, it's been just about 5 months and maybe 1500 miles.

As long as the flywheel doesn't appear shiny or really smooth, is there a way to clean it from all of the transmission fluid that would be/should be on it?

Not saying I don't want to re-surface it (I'm not sure how many times one should do that before replacing it), but if I can just spray some kind of cleaner on it, I'd rather do that. It'd take less time and cost less money.
