Harmonic Balancer Recommendation 200 1986

Hello BBer's

Bringing Inga back to life slowly but surely (1986 245DL 307K) after her wreck. She had a head on meeting with a tree on Halloween when her driver had a little health issue. The driver has recovered and Inga is getting there. I have the front end of the car removed and the front of the car is now wide open. Since you can clearly see things, noticed that the rubber around the harmonic balancer is cracked and split, It is not slipping or loose.

I have to change the front seals and the timing belt anyway, the bottom seal is leaking. You don't get many chances to sit in a chair and work on the front of the engine like you can now.

So if I was to purchase a new harmonic balancer, where would you buy it and why? And no, I do not want to use that Scantech crap. Just a personal choice.

Thanks in advance for all your constructive input.

And nice to be back in Volvo business.

Paul
