No, you misunderstand. It isn't tinyurl or bit.ly sneaking bad things into your posts, it is the potential that exists for someone, anyone, to hide a malicious URL using that tool. I'm just offering you a possible reason why some of us aren't following suit. Making a link clickable with the html code, as I've been doing for 10 years has almost the same potential for abuse.
