1990 740T Wagon Headgasket and other questions

I just picked up a really clean 1990 740 Turbo wagon with a blown headgasket. The car has been really well maintained by a local indie volvo shop. I have service records for just shy of $6000 over the last 6 years. I've never done a headgasket before but I'm fairly confident i can handle it. I've scoured the internet for info on the headgasket replacement and there is a lot of good info out there. the front seals, timing belt and water pump are all less the 5k old so i don't plan on replacing any of those things. is there anything specific to the turbo version of the B230 that i need to know when i do the headgasket? most of the online info is for non turbos

my basic plan is to use the erling headsaket kit
remove intake and pull back for clearance
remove v belts and upper timing cover
mark timing belt and remove from cam sprocket
clamp timing belt so it won't fall off lower sprockets
remove exhaust manifold nuts
separate the head from the manifold while leaving the exhaust mani and turbo connected (has anyone here done this?)

my other question is about the third row seat. is there supposed to be something covering the spare tire when the seat is being used? also, my seat belts for the third row are trashed. are the third row belts in the 900 or 240 series the same? does anyone have a good set of black third row belts they don't need?
