Compressor not kicking on. Jumpered the switch, nothing. Measured voltage at switch connection, less than 1volt. Tried running 12volts to single wire on compressor, nothing. And anyone know what this is on my compressor? It appears some type of hard plastic. Is it necessary? Can I just cut and re-splice the wire? I can turn the clutch by hand. The only recent work was replaced all bushings on compressor, alt, etc. Yes the ground wire is connected.
