should i buy this brick for $1000? 200 1989

I just came across another 240 for sale for $1000. I looked it over for some time and it looks solid,no rust, nice interior, many new parts, only thing that it needs is brakes and the infamous blower motor works but is on its way out the door. However there is a catch that the dealer must be forgetting to mention. When i popped the hood i could'nt help but notice the cap from a h20 bottle right next to the coolant tank. I ran the car for a little and didnt see any leaks. However when i checked the tailpipe theres liquid spurting out of it,not much but enough to notice, also smells a little like coolant. I'm assuming its a blown head gasket. Not sure what the price would be for a garage to fix this, I think it may be to much for me to do myself. So do you think its worth it? 1989 240 dl 5-speed 155,000 miles, odometer does work. Your opinions and advice are appreciated. Thanks.

T.J.
