Hey guys im back! and a door pocket question. 200

Well its been awhile, in late october i went on a family trip to trinidad eureka in the volvo, took hwy 36 up and 299 for the trip down, however on the trip down on 299 she spun out going 40 around a corner, it the road was patchy with wet spots and i hit the mountain, pushing the bumper in and moving the front fenders over a bit, I didn't hit anyone luckily and my car was spun off on the other side of the road so i threw her in first and drove her home.
its been awhile but i saved up and got parts and spent 300 at a frame shop, they pulled out the front lip and realigned the fenders and core support so shes good as new!

anyways during the wreck my girlfriend hit the door pocket and broke a chunk out of it, my driver side never had one so i have 2 door pockets coming in the mail and i would like some suggestions on how to make them stronger or unbreakable if possible, i saw the IPD covers i was thinking about them but they are expensive. let me know what you guys think.
