why does engine miss for 1st 10 min of running from cold start 200

hi sages- trying to figure out if there is a remedy for this annoying condition. 92 240 misfires from a cold start in the am. after about 10 minutes warm up driving it smooths out , runs well and doesnt repeat unless shut down for about 5 hours. during the warm up period it seems to run too lean. plugs , wires , cap ,,rotor ,coil all check out ok. hot air hose to intake is hooked up. after warm up engine will run very well all day. both fuel pumps working. thought fuel injected vehicles compensated for this. old carberated vehicles i owned commonly did this unless the heat riser butterfly in the manifold worked perfectly. but this part isnt on injected engines. local sages tell me this is just an oddball characteristic of this engine. car is in south florida. on very warm mornings it doesnt do this at all. what do you think? thanks tons oldduke
