Plan to replace Gas Tank because of Seam Leaks 200 1988

Is there any thing special I need to know before I pull off the old gas Tank? I am planning to replace it do to LEAKS at the SEAM WELD.

I will 1st remove the sending unit. It looks like a straight forward job after the Filler Tube is disconnected or is that more of an issue than I assume?

Any hints or tip or ideas that worked for you?

Thanks
