cam 200 1989

Just need some feedback. Im considering changing the cam to one that will hopefully give more power. I am considering IPDs 115387 - VX cam. IPD has a kit w/ seals, adjustable cam gear, etc.

The reviews look good except there seems to be some doubt about the adjustable cam gear with the kit. Question is-when changing the cam, what else should I change as long as this is being done? How many seals are around there that should be changed that may not have anything to do with the cam? The timing belt has only about 15k on it.

I am trying to be prepared as much as possible for all the ‘extras’ that go with changing the cam. How about the ‘cam timing gear/sprocket ‘?

Just FYI the brick is an ’89 wagon, non-turbo, A/T . The engine itself is in great shape, no leaks, doesn't burn or use oil.

Thanks for your help.
