'85 740T w/ M46 - New Clutch Fork and now Very High Engagement 700

Everyone,

I have been working on a '85 740T which recently had its clutch fork and ball pivot replaced (along with the clutch disk and the slave cylinder). This is an M46 w/ hydraulic clutch. I have now been driving it and the engagement is very high up, right at the beginning of the pedal travel. It seems to drive fine but the engagement right at the top is a little akward and I am worried that I might run the clutch disk if it is slipping slightly. Any ideas on what to check that might be causing the high engagement? Possibly some issue with the new fork?

Thanks in advance!
Brian
