bad light switch? 120-130

Taillights, parking lights AND dash lights are out on my 68 Amazon. Fuse #3 (which the PO had replaced with a 16A unit - yikes!) blows immediately when the lights are turned on. Obviously there's a short somewhere. I'm afraid it's in the switch itself, since the dash lights are not fused and are not connected to the parking and taillights except via the switch. Anyone have any other theories? I'd be really happy if I didn't have to replace the switch, since it doesn't look like any of the vendors carries it.
