What size are rear shock bolts? 900

Hi,
Started to change out rear shocks last night and ran into the stuck lower bolt problem. I've read through the previous posts and know about the method where I remove the shell and open up the sleeve. I'm wondering if it would be easier just to cut through the bolts with my sawzall and put in new ones. I'd like to pick up the bolts prior to starting this.

Anyone know the size and grade? Are they smooth except for the last inch or inch and a half? Readily available?
