FUBAR 120-130 1967

There I was trying to undo a gorilla tightened 1/2 inch bolt on the slave cylinder. While contemplating tapping the ratchet with a light hammer to get the bolt started, I moved the fork to see how much play there was.

The threaded rod from the slave (piston) fell APART!!! Right before the adjustment nuts on the slave end. Good thing I wasn't driving somewhere!!! I didn't put any tension on it in anyway.

So now what? Do I have to get a new cylinder or can I just buy a rod somewhere? If so, what do I specify?

Thanks,

Klaus
