New Guy, Fuse Issue 200 1989

Hello, I'm a new 240 owner. Her name is Gertrude, and she's a near mint maroon 89 sedan, with only 156,000 on the odometer (if it's to be believed). She is an elegant and classy lady. Though I already am in love with her and see her as perfect, she does have some flaws that I am not blind to, and need to address.

The fuse that runs the power window relay as well as (I think) the reverse lights, the rear defrost and the AC relay blows about 10 seconds after turning the key. What I can do is pop a fuse in, turn the key to "on" without starting it, quickly roll the windows up or down, and flip the key off without blowing the fuse. What I can't do is anything that runs off of that fuse while I'm driving Gertrude.

I'll be tinkering with the issue this weekend, and I don't have a manual yet. I do have a friend who says he has a Haynes for me, though he has yet to come through (I've also been considering the 240 service manual, $50 on amazon). Obviously, I won't be tearing my dash and console apart without one, but I am looking for advice on where to start chasing this dragon, if anyone would be so kind, as well as advice on which manual to grab.
