No fuel gauge 200

91 240 Fuel gauge not working. Fuses all look good....cleaned the surfaces in panel. Where to start?

My big question is.....Would the fuel gauge, speedo, odometer all be connected somehow because those three are not working in the 240...everything else in the cluster works (well lets not get carried away...the temp gauge and blinker lights work)

This is a major need in a modern car.....I'm O.K going to work etc but I really need to find the source soon....
