Hi:
I did the search function first and couldn't find anything except hatch rust, which I also have, anyway my 87 245 w/electric locks has NEVER had the rear hatch open in my 6 years. Finally, a friends son in law, who is doing some painting, etc. on house, crawled in back, took off cover, and FINALLY got it opened. He is not sure what he did but we haven't completely shut it yet. I'll bet somebody here knows exactly how this happens and where to repair the latch assembly. We do hear a clicking on all doors and hatch when lock / unlock. Thoughts and comments? Thanks. A link to pictures perhaps?
