Nope

I can't see any evidence for the "50th Anniversary" claim. I bought only two new cars in my life, a 1979 242DL, and a 1979 242GT. No one was babbling about anniversary cars then. But I did see the wheels and the instruments as dealer installed options, and I've had both at one time or another. The steering wheel may have been from a Volvo dealer or not. Don't know about the twin tailpipes. And I think the headlights may have been illegal in the USA at that time, but were legal in Canada.
For $10k I'd go find a 1999-2000 Lexus LS400......
