Removed Blower motor, car will not start 200 1993

Just finished removing the heater fan from under the dash of my 1993 240 and I'm waiting on a replacement. I've reassembled most of the interior since I need the use of the car before my replacement fan arrives but now it won't start. I thought there was no power to the fuel pump, but I've proven that incorrect; the wiring and relay checked out fine.
However the car will not start. I'm in the process of disassembly again and I'm trying to figure out what I should be looking for. I'm guessing it's a wiring issue but can't for the life of me figure out what I've disturbed that would not allow the car to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
