Frozen Brake line at Flex hose to fixed line. 700

Oy.
I soaked the joint with pblaster, as that was what I have read to prepare to replace the flex hose on my '91 780. I have the stainless lines ready to go, the calipers are new, rotors new also. The car began pulling to the right very recently. Needless to say, my bonney flare nut wrench did not serve me well. The brass fixed brake line is completely frozen to the flex line at the wheel well connection. and now it is stripped. Channel locks did not help. And with 85 degree weather in the sun, I just gave up and put it all back together. Thankfully, it will hold pressure. But the hose is compromised. And now I need to hit a junkyard for the short fixed brake line that is on the inner wheel well to the wheel well connection. Grrrr.
I just replaced brake lines (original) from a '66 Studebaker Cruiser - and the lines came apart so easily. But the Volvo has to be difficult. Why?
Maybe in a few days I will cool down and be able to source new lines to the flex connection. Any sources available? besides the dealer, that has no support for the Coupe model any longer.
thanks for listening/reading.
