No factory turbo boost gauge? 900 1995

Just bought 95 945t 161k and had head gasket done pronto. Did these cars have a turbo boost gauge in the dash? Also is this turbocharger a piece of garbage?,what to replace with ? All of my SAABs 1989-89 have boost gauges and would blow this new brick off the road at any speed.
Volvo crap or something very wrong with car. Thanks for any help.
