Auto Shifter sticking, vibration on acceleration 700 1986

Woohoo, new problem....

Car is automatic AW71 1986 wagon turbo:

Shifter button sticks, hard to get it to "pop" when in moving into Park. When moving into gears, shift markers, colored white, don't fill in window for each gear, Neutral, Drive, 2, 1, instead they are only half-visible or in between two selections.

Also, car from stand still or lower speed acceleration has vibration in the back of car, kinda rumbley, muffled vibration. Doesn't happen all the time, but if I try to create problem, I accelerate hard and get the mentioned symptoms.

Did some FAQ surfing. Maybe transmission mounts fried?

I did have two universal joints replaced a couple years ago. At that time I could feel similar vibration under arm rest box. This new vibration seems farther back.

What do you guys think?
