Volvo liquid gasket for 940 oil pan? 900

About a year ago I took my 940T into the shop for an oil leak. They did several things including replacing the oil pan gasket. When I took it on the road I still had a leak. I returned to the shop and when I picked it up this time, they said the pan was a not quite straight so they used RTV. It has been leak free for a year until last week and it looks like there is a leak at the pan again. I saw a note on the net that RTV can leak over time. I noticed that some of the FWD volvos use a volvo liquid gasket only. I am thinking of using this liquid gasket either by itself or in combination with a traditional gasket. Anybody with experience or an opinion on this? Thanks.
