B18B running issue 140-160

You do have the little rubber throttle shaft seals in place, right?
Is there a possibility you have a manifold vacuum leak or a vacuum hose fitting
that is not plugged off? A lot of HIF6 carbs have a 1/8" vac hose fitting that should be plugged/capped. You can get the caps at NAPA, etc.

A reduction of 200cc should make little or no difference in how the carb acts. They still pull about the same volume at idle, just not as much full blast.

I think the ID of the manifold as a 67 is probably correct. I had a 67 122 with one of those. Worked fine, especially in winter.

If you have your linkage set up right, so that both throttle butterflies begin to open at exactly the same time, that should be all the sync you need.

I'm pretty sure that BAL needles will work fine once you get the other stuff ironed out.
