Have to let go of an old friend 444-544

It’s spring. I have to relocate my longtime (since1972) first love, (was once white) 1958 444. I haven’t been caring for it for more than ten years, (went back to 122s) and I’m losing the home where it has been residing. It is not currently registered, but is non-op, in California.

I’m hoping that someone here may want it or know of someone who wants to restore it or wants it for parts. I had installed a B18 and late stock dual exhaust manifold, and a later (NEW at the time) nose which takes the B18 radiator. Front end was tight. I had redone the headliner in canvas. Last time I saw it there was some rust through in the rear floor pans.

It will be at a friend’s shop in Berkeley, CA on May 12 where it will be available to be seen. I will help with moving if that’s a plus. If there are no takers, I will have to take it to a wrecker.

I don’t want a lot for it – just would prefer that someone be able to use what they can before it leaves my life.

I apologize if this is the wrong venue to post this. I just figured the right person may not be trolling the classifieds. If needs be deleted, so be it and I'll post there.
