On the road again... 1800

Great pix!
This time facebook let me on.
Susie and I are working up to a trip from Bartlesville to Carlisle, PA in the Yellow Peril,
which I guess could be called the "Brick version" of the 1800ES.
Preparations so far have included a tailgate weatherstrip and today window scrapers.
(Trying to keep exhaust out of the car - it aggravates my chronic cough!)
Was the backhoe a VOLVO?
Haven't done an extended road trip in an oldtimer since about 2001, when I made it from
Augusta, GA to Bartlesville in one day, 6:15 AM to about 10 pm, ~1000 miles.
That was in the celery green 122 wagon, which languishes in my back driveway wanting an engine.
Enjoy the rest of your trip!
