14" metal rim with 5.5" width X 20mm offset

185/70r14 = 24.2"
195/70r14 = 24.7
205/70r14 = 25.3
185/75r14 = 24.9
195/75r14 = 25.5
205/75r14 = 26.1

I've run 195/75r14s with no problems on metal rims 20mm offset.
I've tried 205/75r14s which seem to barely fit under the front strut. On a hard turn into a parking space, there was rubbing on the inside of the tire. A spacer may help, but haven't tried it. Otherwise have not noticed any other problems.

As for speedometer calibration, you may be able to change the gear in the speedometer or install a gear ratio adapter.
