where to get A/C o-ring kit for '83 240 ? 200 1983

The only air-conditioner "o-ring kits" I can find say they are for late 80's / early 90's. Would they be the same for my '83? And someone mentioned a how-to on Dave Shannon's site for converting to R143a, or at least replacing o-rings, but I didn't see anything there -- or anywhere else.

One of these books has separate pictures of each major component of the A/C system, and even shows the o-rings in them, but I imagine there are various little o-rings between hoses or wherever else. I know absolutely nothin' about A/C of any kind...
