Weekend Miracle 200

Howdy All,

Not sure if anyone else here has had this happen.

While on a friday night date with my wife, my fuel feeder hose between my fuel pump and filter
decided to fail. The strong smell of fuel sent us quickly to the O'riley parking lot.
Sure enough, gas was spraying from a pin hole in the plastic molded line.

With the primitive tools they gave me, I managed to damage the delicate casing of
the fuel filter in the removal process.

Luckily though, they had an extra filter in stock. I threw it back together with
some better fuel hose and we were off in less than an hour, ahh got to love the simplicity
of a Volvo.

Anyone else had a feeder "hose" fail? I'm surprised they use that translucent plastic stuff
and pass it off as hose. The main pump, fuel line and filter haven't been on for more than a month.
