1990 740 won't start after I washed the engine. 700

I washed the engine of my 1990 740 gl last week and after it won't start. There is spark yellow w/c is weak and fuel I can smell it and #1 spark plug was wet. Cranks strong but will not start. I swapped the coil from my other 740 still won't start. I also swapped the Ignition control module w/ the one in my other car still won't start.I removed the distributor, wires and spark plug ( soaked w/ fuel) and dried them w/ a heat gun.Installed everything and after cranking for a while w/ the gas pedal on the floor it finally started. Let it idle for 20 mins. turned it off and it started right back a couple of times. But the following morning it won't start again. There is spark and fuel pump relay click and pump hummms when I turn key to 1. Injector is also pulsing- noid light flashing. Did I skipped something important in fixing my car? Any suggestions is welcome and highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
