I use a mail order company that has an office base nearby and a warehouse in a nearby state. I usually get my parts by the next day UPS. I took a look at their catalog and found all but the camshaft in a matter of minutes. Unless you are looking for a different performance curve it's hard to imagine why you'd need to change your cam (broken? bent?) as they seem to last forever in the OHC red block. However, cams are available from IPD, ISKY and others. I don't think your guy is trying too hard. The company I use doesn't advertise on the BB but I'm sure those that do would have the parts you need. -- Dave
