Replacement Clutch Cable 200

Is there any particular brand I should buy, or any particular brand I should stay away from?

A few years ago I put a new clutch cable into my girlfriend's 89 244 because the old one was too stretched and I couldn't get it to adjust right. It was a cheapo cable that I bought from Rock Auto. There have been no problems with it, however its never quite felt just right; it's always seemed to have a bit of drag to it. Well, I've now got to replace the cable on another car (well, converting an auto to a manual, and I figure I'll but a new cable instead of use the 20+year old one from the donor car), so I wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks!
