front strut... nivomat? 900 1991

I know this is a stupid quesion but by front strut is leaking and i am researching replacement options.
everywhere has the "EXC. Self leveling nivomat" attached to the descriptions i find for the replacement front struts. so the question is does my 940 SE take the same front strut as a regular 940 or did VOLVO use some crazy expensive strut just to make my life miserable? ( i know its not personal and its supposed to be a performance thing but COME ON! give me a break for once!)
