Transmission mount torque specs? 200 1993

Hey guys,

Today I swapped my original transmission mount with a Febi/Bilstein replacement. The original Volvo mount was a bit soft, and covered in oil, but upon removal, it appears to be in surprisingly good shape. Should have left it alone, but I've been on a maintenance kick lately.

Anyway, I looked in Bentley, Haynes, and here on the board, but was unable to find torque values for the crossmember bolts, the mount, or for the bracket where it attaches to the transmission. Is it really so unimportant that Volvo did not specify the torque? I used my finely calibrated arm-o-meter to make everything tight, but not ridiculously so.

Also, I did my best to keep the mount straight while tightening, but despite my efforts the torque from tightening has left the mount slightly twisted. Is this going to significantly reduce the life of the mount?

Thanks as always,
Sean
