'85 740 Turbo - White smoke at idle (lots), gummy dipstick 700

Everyone,

I was driving home after a failed attempt to sell my '85 740 turbo and worst case happened...I started pouring out white smoke at idle. I made it home (drove fine, only smoked at idle) but the oil on the dipstick is all gummed up. Coolant level was OK and did not look contaminated. I am thinking that this is a blown head gasket but I wanted to check with the folks on brickboard to see if that was the consensus or if I should also take a look at the turbo (previously upgraded to a water cooled turbo).

Thanks!
Brian
