Keyless Entry and Missing Timing Belt Cover Bolts 900 1994

Other than Buyin&Tryin, is there a way to know if a 1994 940 will work with a keyless entry keyfob?

I just purchased the car for my son and the only way to lock it is with the key - is that normal, or is there a way to lock the door without the key that I havent discovered yet?

Second issue, the car came advertised as having a new timing belt (and other belts) but the car ran rough at high speeds. I dug into the project thanks to all of the great info in the FAQ and discovered that they had put one of the washers on backwards so the new timing belt was getting a nice shave.

Fixed all that and got it all back together, but the "12mm" bolts for the cover were already missing and the 10mm bolts seem somewhat stripped (or at least the holes seem stripped). Any recommendations for getting the bolts replaced and making sure the "stripped" ones stay put? Should I consider re-tapping the holes?

Thanks
