Has anyone useed flushing oil in their rear differential and what did you use?

Tools: besides a drum puller, what tools will I need to replace the differential carrier bearing and rear pinion bearing? I have a list of the SVO tools in my manual, looking for modern equivalents.

Any info is appreciated as I research this project.
