hesitation 900

I have what, at times, is a severe hesitation in my '94 940T.
Engine speed doesn't matter, occurs at high & low speed under acceleration.
I have tried swapping the AMM & power stage but am not sure if the replacxements are good, they have worked fine in the past. Haven't checked the radio suppression relay yet.
No apparent vacuum leaks.
CPS is less than 2 years old.
So, is there an electrical check anyone has come up with to check the AMM and/or power stage?
My gut says it is the power stage, anything I'm missing?
